Terms of Use

Welcome to IRL. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and In Real Life (Thailand) Company Limited ("IRL", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of the IRL mobile application, the website at joinirl.app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use IRL

You must be at least 18 years old to use IRL. The Service is invite-only and, for most features, requires identity verification. By using IRL you confirm that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your login secure.

2. Identity verification

To keep the community trusted, IRL verifies members' identities through a third-party verification provider. You agree to provide accurate identity information and understand that we may limit or refuse access if verification cannot be completed or if we believe an account is fraudulent or impersonating someone.

3. Your content and conduct

You are responsible for the content you share on IRL, including your profile, messages, photos, and anything you post. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant IRL a limited licence to host, display, and share it as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your profile to a connection or delivering your message to its recipient).

4. No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

IRL has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You can report any member or message directly in the app, and you can block any member so they can no longer contact you or see your profile. We review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently remove any member who violates these Terms, typically within 24 hours of a report.

5. Introductions and connections

IRL helps members make introductions and connections. We do not guarantee the conduct of any member, the accuracy of any profile, or the outcome of any introduction, meeting, or event. Use your own judgement when meeting people, and meet in public places when meeting someone new.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription in the future. If and when paid plans are offered, pricing and billing terms will be shown to you before you purchase, and purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's terms.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Profile settings. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal information and disconnect you from other members, as described in our Privacy Policy. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as preventing fraud.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, IRL disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IRL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other members.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know through the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
